Leedarson is committed to your privacy.

This Leedarson Service Privacy Statement (the “privacy statement” or “statement”) takes effect on October 22nd, 2019. It covers how Leedarson IoT Technology Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively “Leedarson”) collect, use, share and store information, including your personal information (that is, information used to personally identify you, such as your name, email address and other data that can be used to reasonably infer such information).

This statement focuses on information related to Leedarson’s operation of services. References to “Leedarson services” or “services” in this statement include Leedarson’s websites.

Your privacy is important to us. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party except under the circumstances specified in this statement.

If you use or otherwise access the service, you consent to Leedarson collecting and processing information as described in this statement. If you dissent, please cease to use or otherwise access the service.

If you use or otherwise access the service, you consent that Leedarson will transfer your personal information from your residence to the Leedarson server. You know and understand that there might be differences in privacy protection and legal requirements (including the right of access to personal information) between certain countries or territories and your current location.

2. What personal information we receive or collect

The following information about you may be collected, stored and used when you interact with us through our Services, in order to operate effectively and provide you the best experience with our Service, each as defined and as further described below.

Personal Information:
“Personal Information” means the information you provide to us which personally identifies you and/or can be used to contact you, including but not limited to, your name, email address, telephone number, company name, name of position within company. When you interact with us, we may ask you to supply us with Personal Information. For example, when you:

When you submit personal information to Leedarson, you understand and agree that the information may be transferred across international boundaries and may be stored and processed in any of the countries in which Leedarson and its subsidiaries maintain offices or web hosting servers. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transferring, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by trusted vendors of Leedarson. Such vendors are bound by contract not to use your personal information for their own purposes or provide it to any third parties.

Automatic Data Collection:
Each time you access our Services, information about your computer hardware and software may also be automatically collected by Leedarson and kept for a reasonable period of time. The information includes, but is not restricted to, your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. The information is used solely for performance, usability, site administration, and security.

3. How we use your personal information

We will use your information to provide services and products for the following purposes:

To improve the user experience: We will use your information to improve the user experience with regard to the service and products; for example, we may customize and send you preset plans by analyzing user preference and location. However, such analysis is not specific to individuals.

For internal use: We may use your information for internal use. For example, we may use your information in an aggregated, unidentified manner to understand our user base, research and improve our products, services and customer relationships, and assist us in making business decisions.

To send notices: We may use your information to send you important notices, advertisements and marketing materials.

Generally speaking, we will only use the collected personal information for the purposes described above in this privacy statement, or for the purposes that we explained to you when we collected your personal information. If we collect and process your personal information that has nothing to do with the purposes described above, we will ask you for additional opinions.

Leedarson stresses clarity and openness in its information collection and usage. For the purpose of transparency, this privacy statement provides a detailed description of how and when Leedarson would use “cookies” and other technologies.

 

Websites included in Leedarson’s services (“Leedarson’s websites”) may use "cookies" and such other technologies as session, token and pixel tags. When you access Leedarson’s websites, these technologies are used to identify you personally, record your preferences and provide you with personalized experiences consistent with your settings. Cookies also allow you to interact with Leedarson more conveniently and safely. In addition, these technologies are used to understand and analyze what is happening and predict what is likely to happen, helping us to manage the websites, understand user behavior on the websites, improve products and services, and collect information on user groups.

 

You can control cookies in most browsers by setting preferences. If you wish to disable cookies, go to the preference settings in the browser of the personal computer or device you use to access the service. If you use Leedarson’s websites without setting browser preferences, you will be deemed as having agreed to receive all cookies on Leedarson’s websites. You may view and delete cookies on most browsers, including cookies created when using Leedarson’s websites. Please note that Leedarson’s websites will not work properly once these technologies are disabled.

Disclosure is necessitated by the normal operation of services. The service relies on or involves third-party products and services, which may access your information as a result. To use or otherwise access the service, you have agreed to the disclosure of your information to the third party that provides the functions or facilities necessary for the normal operation of the service.

 

Transfer or disclosure of your information is required by the local laws and regulations of local courts or government agencies.

Your information may be sold or transferred as an asset in the event of the partial or whole sale or transfer of the company’s assets. The buyer will be required to deal with such information properly under a privacy statement reached at the time of information collection.

We prohibit any third party from collecting, editing, selling or disseminating your information in any way. If any user of the service is found to engage in such activities, that user’s rights will be suspended or terminated.

6. Access, update, correction, deletion or restriction on the processing of personal information

You may access your personal information stored by Leedarson. When you request such access, you will be required to verify your personal identity before Leedarson processes the request. Once the information that matches your request is obtained, Leedarson will respond to your request within the period of time specified in the applicable data protection laws.

As you request, Leedarson will provide you with copies of your collected and saved personal data. If you have any additional requests associated with the same information, Leedarson may charge a reasonable fee based on the actual administrative costs and according to the applicable laws.

If you are in the European Union, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (the “right to delete” or “right to be forgotten”), you may require the deletion of your personal information, and we will process your request in compliance with GDPR.

If you are in the European Union, according to GDPR (the “right to restrict processing”), you may require us not to process your personal information, and we will process your request in compliance with GDPR.

If you are in the European Union, according to GDPR, you may require non-compliance with decisions based solely on automatic processing, which will have a major legal or similar impact on you, and we will process your request in compliance with GDPR.

If you are in the European Union, according to GDPR, you are entitled to received personal information in a structured, commonly used format, and transfer such information to other data controllers, and we will process your request in compliance with GDPR.

7. Withdrawal of consent

You may submit a request by emailing us at enquiry@leedarson.com to withdraw your consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal information owned or controlled by Leedarson. We will process your request within a reasonable period of time and cease to collect, use and/or disclose your personal information as you request.

Please note that withdrawal of consent may bring you certain legal consequences. Besides, relying on the extent of the personal information to be processed to which you withdraw your consent, you may not be able to enjoy the same Leedarson products or services as you did before the withdrawal of consent.

8. Deletion of information

Your information is generally stored on our server, and the storage time is determined on the basis of the normal operation of the service. You may submit a request by emailing us at enquiry@leedarson.com to delete your personal information owned or controlled by Leedarson. We will process your request within a reasonable period of time and disclose your personal information as you request.

When information is deleted, a backup copy may continue to exist for a while before being deleted. If Leedarson is required by law to retain some information, such information may be retained for a long period of time.

9. Security measures

Leedarson takes the security of your personal information very seriously. We will spare no efforts to protect your user information by taking all practical physical, electronic and management security measures based on our resources and capacity. For instance, we improve security for user information using encryption; prevent user information from vicious attacks using trusted safeguards; do our best to stop unauthorized access by implementing an access control mechanism; and hold training sessions on security and privacy protection for our staff in order to raise awareness of the importance of protecting user information.

Leedarson will take practical action to protect your personal information. However, you should know that there is never absolute security when using the Internet, so we cannot guarantee 100% safety or completeness for any personal information transferred via the Internet, either from or to you. Leedarson will assume liability for the leak of personal data and report it to the relevant regulators, or under certain circumstances, inform the data originator of the leak of their personal information.

10. Integrity and retention of personal information

Leedarson will help you ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely update of your personal information. For the purpose of this privacy statement, we will retain your personal information as long as necessary. To determine the length of time, we will carefully review the need to collect personal information. Where such a need exists, we will fulfill the goals of information collection while retaining the information for as short a time as possible, unless a longer retention time is required by law.

11. How we process personal information of minors

Leedarson is aware of the importance of taking additional precautions to protect the privacy and security of minors who use Leedarson’s products and services. Individuals under the age of 16 or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction are not allowed to submit personal information.

Leedarson’s websites are not designed for individuals under the age of 16. Where it is found that the personal information of individuals under the age of 16 or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction is collected, we will take reasonable action to remove such information, in addition to the above cases. 

 

12. Cross-border transmission of personal information

Leedarson is a multinational company headquartered in China. To process or back up your personal data, facilities operated and controlled by Leedarson abroad and at the headquarters in China will be used. Our overseas facilities are installed on Amazon Web Services in the United States. 

 

During the processing of your information, for the purposes described in this privacy statement, your personal data may be transferred between your devices and our overseas facilities and systems. We are committed to protecting your information with proper security measures during such transfer, including technical measures (e.g. encryption) and information assurance certification. If the relevant risks concern you or appear unacceptable to you, you may reject such transfer, but you will be unable to enjoy Leedarson’s products and services thereafter.

 

13. Update of the privacy statement

Leedarson may update its privacy statement from time to time. When we change the statement in a material way, a notice will be posted on our website, or we will inform you of such an update directly.
